January 08 Competition

Well done everybody who competed in the graded competition at Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton.

Let me start by congratulating Kirsty Way, Reine Beau Anderson, Dudley and Megan Parker for taking team bronze in their first ever grade 4 competition.

Alice Hamblin had an excellent day and took individual silver in the grade 5 under 13, just missing out on gold.

Chloe Thomas also performed well and finished with bronze, just missing out on the qualifying score for grade 3.

Holly Craft came away with gold in her first competition with Wessex Flyers after moving here from London.

Well done Dan Newman who came first in his group, followed closely by Matt Newman who came second.

Our under 11 grade 5 team competed against a huge group of (55) did extremely well with Ruby Ellard taking 6th place and Emily Peacock taking 13th. Lauren Dagnall performed a front somersault in her first graded competition, and Orla Adams our youngest competitor who is in the under 9 age group; she finished a superb 11th place out of 21."
